Tommorow is the day. Ridley starts grade one and I become a stay at home mom to...erm, nobody! What a change! It'll be sad but hey, I'm going to have a bit more freedom. I can actually take my coffee to the park and sit under a tree and read/study. I could do this before but with mixed results.
I tried to take Ridley back to school shopping. She shot me down at every turn. "I don't need a new backpack, lunchbox, pencil case, pencils, erasers" But...aha! The shoes. Pink and silver Nikes that she swears make her run twice as fast. She is a shoe fiend and I take full responsibility.
