She has been a citizen from birth because we're both Canadian. We had to get her a citizenship card though and that was a looong and tedious process. Without proof, although she was techinally Canadian, she wasn't entitled to all the benefits we are. (health care etc...) I am so relieved that she is now "official". Now we have to decide which passport she should carry. No brainer there huh? :)
