Just some random updates here.
I'm booking my drivers test tommorow for the end of August. I promised myself I'd get my license by summers end, so now I'm commited! Am I the only 34 yr old freak who doesn't drive???? I guess kickin' butt at Project Gotham Racing doesn't qualify as "driving" does it...
I am NERVOUS!
I've also got to brush up on my french! I am technically bilingual but I'm struggling to remember words for the most basic things.
Now that I've got my notebook back, I've been playing The Sims again. Fun stuff though I don't give a hoot about my sims. I just like designing the houses. :)
I installed Pocket Blogger and as soon as I get the wireless on my pocket pc setup again, I'll hopefully be able to update from it.
Ridley starts swimming lessons at the end of the month. She also finishes kindergarten! I can't believe shes starting grade 1 next year. There are rumours flying around her class about a grade 1 kid who is *gasp* half girl/half boy AND who calls the kindergarteners "babies". Shes decided she'd rather stay home with me next year. Heh. Where do kids get this stuff from???

Its the same here in Ontario too.
I think we should have been grandfathered into the non-graduated licensing.
Just a minor vent, there isn't much mini about a minivan! I'll be borrowing Franca's nice and small (relatively) Saturn Ion for my test.
Go for your test Sam! You've been driving longer then me so you'll be fine I'm sure. Of course you could always be a wimp like me and borrow someone elses smaller car for your road test. :)
that's a great idea! I have been gently urging sam to call the courtenay driving school and get a lesson and then take le teste in a little car. it will be painless i promise...and very empowering :)
